Algeria Expands Support for University Innovation and Startup Development

On 4 November, the government reviewed funding mechanisms that have supported nearly 1,000 university innovation projects, reinforcing the role of research commercialisation and entrepreneurship. No new venture-capital fund, startup grant amount or individual investment value was announced. This creates opportunities for accelerators, incubators, technology entrepreneurs and early-stage investors.
